Wall of Fame

Wall of Fame

AT THE FRISCO SCHOOL OF MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS

Music students who have been with FSMPA for four-years or more are featured on our WALL OF FAME. Their picture, and comments about what music means to them, are posted on the south hallway walls of the Music Building, so please come take a look! We celebrate our students who have stayed with music and are being successful in all parts of their lives.

The year you see listed for each student is the year they started lessons with us, and their frame was posted at the four-year mark.

Congratulations!!!

When I do a lesson I know in my mind that I'm learning something new and I'm memorizing so I can play that piece, and have fun on any piano.

The music lessons have helped me become a member of the Prestonwood Choir which was very important to my goals. My teachers guidance has also helped me regain much of my original range which I thought was lost forever. I believe that the teaching style, counseling, and positive demeanor of my teacher has provided the encouragement that prepared me to sing at my Dad's funeral last year, a very important and defining moment in my life. I have been given a renewed joy in music and the ability to submerse myself in the texture and depths of this art. Music is, once again, a mainstay in my life. Along with the learning experience I have found, I have discovered an environment of friends that I treasure. My thanks to all of you.

Music lessons mean a lot to me. They help me on the music stuff! So on a Tuesday morning in the school music class, I would know my stuff. So music lessons help in different ways. And plus, I love music, it is fun and it keeps me from being bored. I'm so so so glad I take music lessons here! :).

What music lessons mean to me is that my teachers think I have potential and they use their time to help me become a better singer. This means a lot to me because I want to be a famous singer when I grow up.

Music lessons have meant a lot to me because I love my teacher, and because she tells me to put my heart and soul into the music I play. The first time I started music lessons I didn’t know much about music, but now I really enjoy playing the piano and in the future I even consider composing music like Mozart or Beethoven.

Music Lessons have been fun and interesting for me. My mother likes when I play songs for her. On Christmas I played for her as well. My teacher is very nice. I just wait and wait for Tuesday because I love going to the Frisco School of Music for my lessons, because the staff and teachers are very wonderful to me I take my lessons seriously, and never give up on a song. My goal for piano is to play difficult songs fluently. MUSIC ROCKS!

It means that I can play the violin better and better and let other people enjoy it. Most people don't play it and I'm glad I got the chance to. I'm glad I have a teacher to teach me instead of learning on my own.

My son is in the Thurs. group lesson for piano. He has an exceptional teacher & has really motivated my son. We could not be happier with the class and the teacher as well.
